New Feature: Additional Costs
Since it's inception we have always setup all the products in ProMart with a maximum of 6 options for print. (Plain Stock, 1-4 Colour, Process Print) Or whatever you wanted to use them for.
This keeps everything nice and simple as the fields are dynamic and you can do whatever you want with them. However this can make it difficult to store all the information you may have available from your supplier. This is why we have now added in the ability to add additional costs to quotes.

This new facility allows you to store as many additional costs as you require. We store them all against product codes so whenever a product is loaded, it will also load all it's additional cost options.
We have 2 types of additional costs
- One Off Costs
- Row Costs
One off costs can be added into the Origination/Setup field by chooing which column to add it to (colour coded). Row costs can either be added into all rows containing a price or can be used to replace the selected row of prices. When adding an additional cost to a quote the cost title will automatically be added into the product description so that you can adjust it so that it says what your are quoting on and everything is clear.
Not everyone will use this feature but we have found that particually catalogue group members and predominantly clothing suppliers will find this feature useful.
We can now take data from a clothing catalogue supplier and generate additional costs that can be used to build your quote from your printing company. I.e. Load in the clothing prices and then all embroidery and setup charges after. Whilst this does not offer front end users any more options to purchase, it makes building your quotes a lot easier and removes the need to call your supplier for prices all the time.
