“Never before in a UK political campaign has a message been so strongly put across by so many people on the streets.
Around £0.25 million has been spent by the two sides on promotional clothing , badges or flags, the biggest promotion of budgets ever by our estimates, and that Yes has spent up to 50 per cent more than No.” says Gordon Glenister, Director General of the British Promotional Merchandise Association.
“It’s been a great economic boost to the many small businesses in Scotland who have been producing them.”
This week is, co-incidentally, Promotional Products Week, highlighting the important but the often unrecognised role that promotional merchandise plays in our working lives.
